Dumbo Engagement Session with Jenna and Chaz

Jenna and Chaz pretty much grew up together. They both still had a lot of school a head of them, but they were high school sweethearts, and best friends. After nine years of dating Chaz got everything together to plan the perfect proposal.

Jenna and Chaz’s Engagement Session

When I met the Jenna and Chaz, we immediately went into exploring the beautiful neighborhood of Dumbo. They naturally looked so comfortable and good together. I had forgotten how long Jenna and Chaz had been together and as we walked Jenna asked me how long Nick and I had been together. And when I told her that it would be two years in August, she replied, “Aww, that’s cute.”

Clearly, timing is everything, and for Jenna and Chaz, it worked out perfectly! The couple will be getting married next year and celebrating 10 years of love and making each other laugh. And considering how much fun I had with them, I cannot wait for the wedding! If their engagement session is any indication of how beautiful and wonderfully they fit together, we are in for quite a treat!

After taking some photos by the water with the Brooklyn bridge in the background, we walked over to the River Cafe, and I mentioned getting ice cream. It was game on! I love adding little details to a session that tell a story. From the beginning till the end, this couple laughed, loved, and danced! The love was flowing freely and that’s what I adore about engagement sessions! It just seemed like the perfect way to celebrate Jenna and Chaz’s engagement on a beautiful day in Dumbo! And the New York City skyline was just a perfect touch to their engagement photos.
