Alyssa + Rob’s The Mansion at Mountain Lakes Wedding

Alyssa and Rob made their dream wedding into a reality this year! They chose The Mansion at Mountain Lakes in New Jersey as their wedding venue and ensured everything was just perfect for their special day. From their impeccable wedding attire and decor to the delicious food, everything was carefully planned out to look super chic and elegant.

The big day had finally arrived and each wedding guest was more excited than the next to see Alyssa and Rob get married. I could see that everyone was in a celebratory mood and had nothing but love and support for the bride and groom.

The day started with shining the spotlight on Alyssa’s bridal gown. It was absolutely stunning and fit her to perfection. Bridal prep is so fun to captures and even more so when the whole wedding party is getting ready together. Once Alyssa changed into her gown, she looked gorgeous! Rob also had some picture-worthy details in his attire. He wore his customized cufflinks and socks that had the wedding date marked on them. He looked super handsome and ready to get married!

The first look is one of my favorite moments from weddings. They bring out the most genuine reactions and some of the most beautiful expressions from the bride and the groom, and Alyssa and Rob’s first look was no different. They did the first look on a small bridge in a beautiful outdoor spot surrounded by lush greenery. Rob was so happy to see his bride, and Alyssa was so overwhelmed with all that love that she had tears in her eyes.

Alyssa planned photo time perfectly, allowing time for romantic portraits at different locations. Before the ceremony started, I also photographed the wedding party with Alyssa and Rob. A beautifully color-coordinated group, that had so much fun!

The ceremony was extremely sweet. The bride and groom just couldn’t stop admiring each other and making each other laugh. Alyssa and Rob had their first dance at the reception, followed by the father-daughter and the mother-son dances. The speeches and toasts at the wedding were just as unique as the couple! But the most epic toast came from Jake, the best man! He said, “A very wise and respected woman once said, “Never fall in love at the Jersey Shore.” And if Snooki was at Alyssa and Rob’s wedding, I’d tell her that she was dead wrong because that’s where these two fell in love, and they’ve been inseparable ever since.” This was truly one of the funniest toasts I’ve ever heard, and the bride and groom and the guests loved it too!

Once the cake was cut, and all the formal photographs were taken, the dance floor was opened for everyone, and boy did the guests take advantage of that! With everyone singing and dancing, it was the perfect end to the most amazing day.
