Bermuda Styled Wedding in Chatham, New Jersey

Emily and David planned a Bermuda style wedding at the bride’s childhood home in Chatham, New Jersey. When Emily and David first started dreaming about their wedding they thought of their time in Bermuda. They dreamt of crystal-clear waters, pink sand beaches, and stunning sunsets, all memories they enjoyed during their trips to the island. They wanted to bring a piece of that paradise to their home in New Jersey, where they could share their love and commitment with their friends and family.

To make their dream wedding a reality, the couple began knew exactly what direction they were going to go for their Bermuda-inspired decor and attire, incorporating tropical colors, floral arrangements, and island-inspired cuisine. They hired a live band to play during the reception, which brought a lively vibe to the atmosphere.

The Ceremony

As the day of their wedding approached, the couple was ready to celebrate with friends and family. They exchanged vows at their round-shaped arch. In Bermuda these arches are found in gardens all over the island and assure a long and happy life together. Walk through one of these photogenic archways, make a wish, seal it with a kiss and look forward to a joyful and prosperous future. Emily + David did just that. Guests cheered, and were ready to celebrate the happily married duo.

The Reception

Bloomers Designs is actually the Bride, Emily and the MOB, Aggie. This was their brain child. From the stunning tent, to the gorgeous rattan chandeliers, to every vase, linen, and floral accoutrement. Every detail was planned and beautified to perfection. They worked together throughout every step of the process. It was magical to see how everything came together. David’s daughter surprised all the guests by grabbing a mic and singing with the band. Shocked guests rushed the dance floor to cheer her on.
