Meet Bobbi + Rich, just a super cute, super cool couple who fell in love in New York City and had a wedding in Austin. Let me try that again and really explain the severity of their super cute, coolness. These two both have amazing careers in advertising and know just how to create an incredible experience for their clients. So of course they wanted to create the same for their guests on their wedding day. Rich is originally from Chicago, but Bobbi hails from the Lone Star State. Bobbi channeled her inner cowgirl, hand making the main décor piece, a disco saddle! It was placed in the center of the room and was an actual 40 pound saddle that Bobbie glued mirror tiles on to create some added night life to the dancing just like the dance scene in the movie, Hope Floats. The overall feel was laid back but simply western chic with the reception tables decorated with hand made leather runners that were stained and branded by the Father of the Bride with their wedding hashtag. Some were even branded with a newly registered brand Bobbi’s Dad got for the newlyweds. Another item made by Bobbi’s Dad were the leather keychains with table numbers branded in them as the escort cards guests could also keep as well.
Guests couldn’t stop talking about the big introduction that happened at cocktail hour. Bobbi and Rich came in with a Mariachi Band and two beer Burros with a server carrying shots of tequila! If that wasn’t enough, fast forward to cake and these two shocked everyone with their Red Velvet Armadillo cake from Steel Magnolias, which was the perfect addition to their dessert table! As if this wedding couldn’t get any more amazing Bobbi + Rich threw in some Friday Night Lights, killer music by Drywater Band accompanied by some bride and groom crowd surfing, a late night Texas treat of Whataburger and of course a sparkler exit.
Many of the guests had never been to Austin, let alone Texas before and this gave each and every guest a true sense of the longhorn state!
So much cuteness in all this! The boys opted to hang at the bar, shoot darts and drink the Lone Star Beer. That is one great start to a day if you ask me! The whole family is ready! Isn’t SUE a stud!?!?
Rich did not hold back!
Such greatness BOBBI!
