A Pleasantdale Chateau Wedding Day –

Taryn and Francis met in law school and started dating just one semester before graduation. They dated for 5 years and right before Francis proposed, they bought their first home together – an apartment in Hoboken, New Jersey.

Their proposal story is the perfect example of improvisation when things don’t go exactly as planned! Taryn and Francis were supposed to spend a beautiful afternoon in New York City, exploring and then taking a walk through Battery Park to a new restaurant they had been wanting to try.  The weather had other plans… It rained like crazy that day so they spent the day in their new apartment and Francis proposed before dinner. Little did Taryn know, Francis still had a surprise in store for her! Both of their families were waiting at a local bar to meet them for drinks and celebrate their engagement Taryn says that even without a romantic walk through Battery Park, it was the perfect night.

They were married at the Pleasantdale Chateau in New Jersey.  The weather that day made up for the rainstorm on their engagement day!  It was all clear skies and sunshine the entire time. I hope you enjoy reminiscing their breathtaking day!

Their first look was one of my all time favorites! It’s literally like Cinderella going to meet her Prince… Cheesy but true.
