When Amy asked me to join her in Mexico for a wedding, I jumped at the opportunity. It was obviously so hard to say no considering we would be staying at the Secrets Resorts and Spa. all inclusive resort in Riviera Maya, Mexico and I would be shooting a stunning couple on their wedding day with one of my best friends. I called Amy two days before leaving to see if she had a dress and to find out if it would be possible to do a Trash the Dress session in such a breathtaking place. She did have a dress and she was willing! With more excitement then either of us could contain we headed out into the warm Riviera Maya wind and the clear blue water, eager to see the magic unfold. I am thankful to have such a beautiful and spontaneous best friend to roll around in the cream colored sand as waves crashed over her. She’s a braver woman than I and she continues to impress me with her love for adventure and her uplifting personality. I can’t wait to share all the gorgeous images from our perfect getaway in the Mexican sun.

If there’s one thing you should know about Amy it’s that she’s not afraid to get a little sandy. She tossed and turned and rolled all up in that sand. I have to admit she’s quite a sand champ!
