Cristina and Matt have been best friends since High School. They both grew up in the same town going to the same elementary and middle schools. They spent half their high school years together but never dated, but always stayed good friends. Every time they were home from college, they’d spend time together just as friends. Once they graduated, Matt went overseas to play Basketball and Cristina went to grad school.

In 2015 they both ended up back at home and making their “just friends” dinners together a weekly thing. Finally, right before Valentine’s day, Matt opened up the conversation about moving things past the friend zone. Luckily, they were on the same page and things eased into a beautiful relationship.

They were married at Eagle Oaks Golf Club on May 4th! I loved photographing their wedding and seeing all their family again as Cristina and I originally met at her sisters wedding a few years ago.
